Alabama Shakes

Alabama Shakes is a Grammy Award-winning American rock band known for their electrifying blend of Southern rock, soul, blues, and garage rock. Formed in Athens, Alabama, in 2009, the band features powerhouse vocalist and guitarist Brittany Howard, along with Heath Fogg (guitar), Zac Cockrell (bass), and Steve Johnson (drums).

Their 2012 debut album Boys & Girls launched them into the national spotlight with the breakout single “Hold On,” earning widespread acclaim for its raw energy and Howard’s soulful voice. They followed up with Sound & Color in 2015, a genre-bending record that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and showcased their growth as artists.
